The Lea O'Dimm Letters (xix)

Her skin had thinned from experience,
and her heart thickened with layers of regret.
She trudged on like a rusty soldier,
and burnt those true letters that she wrote to a boy.
Amy was the most beautiful girl you would know,
and she was eleven years old.

The Lea O'Dimm Letters (xviii)

They stared down at the broken shell.
One man cried out, "I've got duct tape!"
Another whispered, "I've got a spatula...".
All the king's horses and all the king's men,
